Meet Our Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant

Our nurse practitioner and physician assistant are highly trained health care providers, who play a vital role in allowing us to give our patients comprehensive treatment. They work very closely with our specialist physicians to tailor the management of each patient's treatment to their individual needs.

Gloria Hsu was born in Michigan, the oldest of four girls. At the age of seven she moved to Taiwan with her family and graduated from high school there. She then attended Wheaton College in Illinois where she obtained her degree in sociology with an emphasis in social work while she worked on prerequisites for nursing school. She then attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing where she received her B.S.N. and subsequently worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a RN for one year on their Infectious Disease unit.  She returned to school to get her master’s degree at the University of Maryland, where she received her M.S.N. as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has since been employed as a Nurse Practitioner at Bay West Endocrinology where she particularly enjoys practicing holistic care of the patients with extensive time spent on patient education. She is married and has one son.
